Frequently while modelling, I find that the image of a tool will start stamping or shadowing behind the cursor. When I ESC the tool, the images disappear but will happen again with the next. It doesn’t matter what the tool is.
This forces me to save, quit and reopen the file. This tends to work for a while but then the issue happens again.
Does anyone else have this problem? I’ve only noticed it since I started using 2021.

I don’t speak Mac, but you could try turning hardware acceleration on or off in preferences.
Can’t be done . Not an option on Mac.
Possibly the new modifier options in the 2021 upgrade. Have a look at this if you haven’t already.
It’s a well know Graphic driver problem, on windows you would normally update the driver but on Mac…
The Preferences>OpenGL dialog has a “Use Fast Feedback” box. Unchecking that and restarting SketchUp often helps with integrated graphics like M1 has.
