Tips to create curved bench

Hi,

I am a landscape designer and I often need to create a curved wall that also curves slopes down, like in this bench. I habe no idea where to start! Appreciate some tips. I have used sketchup for years but I am not that great with plug ins. The simplest way will be best if possible!
