Creating a slope on a curved shape

Hi all,

I am home/DIY Sketch Up beginner looking for some help. I’ve exhausted YouTube and I’m struggling because I think I’m not looking for the right term and have approached the design wrong. Any help would be awesome.

I’m trying to draw up my plot of land. It’s a corner plot and the nature strip / verge / council land slopes up to the boundary. I cannot get the slope to work on the curved edge. I’ve tried push/pull which works to a point. I tried taking that curved segement out and following advice for creating a curved path, but I can’t get the groups to intersect. I think its simple and I’m just not seeing the simplest solution.

Image attached (newbies can only attach one image), thanks for the help and advice

Post your model so we can see what you have so far (drag it to a reply window).

Without seeing the model I think you could do this with follow me and chase the slope around the curve. It might work best if the main property is one object (group or component) and the curved shape is another.

Mike was right, you can use Follow Me, it’s easier and faster.

But you can also use idea from the method I already showed.
