Hi @colin help me please, my file This does not appear to be a SketchUp model!, help me to repair my skp https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zF4prjUUSZouSX5WrVhvTIkHh4dJetUJ/view?usp=sharing
The file is completely filled with zeros and it cannot be recovered. Is the backup file (.skb) intact?
please help me
The .skb file is about half-filled with zeroes. Nothing to recover from it, either. Where were you saving the file while working on it?
Your forum profile indicates you have a SketchUp Pro subscription. Were you also utilizing Trimble Connect to save an additional backup copy there?
Disk D:/
i was’nt connect to trimble utilizing
IS that an internal drive?
That’s unfortunate. If you had been using Trimble Connect to save an additional backup of the file you would have another option for retrieving it. Were you using the SketchUp model in a LayOut project?
External drive , Please Help me everyone
Saving to an external drive has resulted in similar problems for many users. Best is to save to an internal drive and if you need the file on an external drive, copy the saved file.
No one can help you with these files at this point. We can’t replace zeroes with real data. The only option since you have no other copies of the file is to start over. This time save to the internal drive AND also to Trimble Connect.
Are you using a cr acked version of SketchUp?
