hello Lanr, we were working on this, and all of a sudden it showed message as this file does not appear to be a sketchup file, we tried changing the backup file name from skb - skp, till the issues persists, kindly help out

The file contains nothing but zeroes.

Where were you saving the file while working on it? Do you have a current subscription for SketchUp or are you using a cr acked version? Did you experience a power interruption?

I asked questions trying to figure out what might have been the reason but you haven’t answered them.

we saved it in local disk d, this is a friends, he uses cracked version i guess, is there a fix for this?
power fluctuations we do have in our office, we have faced this before also

First, get a legal subscription to SketchUp. Using cr acked software is illegal and it makes your friend a thief.

If you experience power fluctuations that affect your computers, you should do something to avoid power issues. That’s simple enough with a UPS.
