Bought SketchUp Pro about a year ago. Just got an email to renew Tech Support, Maintenance, and Updates for $180. Does this mean I have to pay $180 annually in order to keep the most updated version? I hope I am misunderstanding something here.
No, normally it is 120 US per year, … unless you let the plan lapse more than 30 days, then you pay an additional 60 US “re-enrollment” fee.
That would be v2015, which you’d have paid the first years maintenance plan, so you should have been able to update to v2016 when it was released last Nov 17.
