Hi gang, I just bout a new PC and need to now install SKU 2026 onto the new computer. I currently have SKU 2024 on my laptop. Which I will upgrade to SKU 2026 on that one.
My question is what are the proper steps to uninstall SKU 2025 on my current PC so that I can then reinstall on my new PC..
I just want to make sure I do this all correctly. I did some research and I don’t think I just uninstall it but have to cancel the license on my old computer as well?

You do not have to remove 2024 from the laptop. Each version is standalone. On the new computer, right-click on the download of SketchUp, choose Run as Administrator, and follow the prompts. One can have multiple versions of SketchUp on the same computer. To be safe sign out of 2024 SketchUp.
The uninstaller on Windows does sign you out of the version you are uninstalling. If you want to keep 2025 around for now, in case you have a reason to use it, you could still open it one time to then sign out, to free up that activation for you to sign in with 2026.

Just make sure to right-click on the installer and choose run as administrator.
You still could open SketchUp on the old computer, and sign out, then close SketchUp.
