Hi All,
I often use 3DSky for complex model downloads, and sometimes the way they name their textures is confusing. For example, the most recent has a few jpeg files named ‘fas’, ‘fas B’, ‘fas R’ and ‘kromka’. Any ideas how these translate to Vray lingo? I’m attaching a screenshot of the texture files. I’m assuming the ‘fas’ is just the name of the texture, and it’s the ‘B’ and ‘R’ that are the key here.
If I labeled them one to seven.
I would guess there are 3 separate materials there.

3. Albedo/Base Colour

5.Bump
6.Roughness/Reflection
7.Albedo/Base Colour
fas B looks like the bump map
whereas fas R looks like the reflection map
You can use the same map in both texture slots and always adjust its brightness & contrast values using a color corrections control layer
