Tags disappeared

Hi

I seem to be having problems with tags, I’ve set various tags up and been using them for a while, and they have disappeared. I then reset- saved it as a template, when I reopen the doc they have vanished, what am I doing wrong ;(

if you’ve turned on the purge on save option, and you have empty tags, they get purged.

you have 2 solutions : either turn off the purge on save in the general preferences.
or draw a bunch of faces, and tag them so the tags are not empty in your template anymore.

Thank you for getting back to me. I could not work out turn off the purge on save in the general preferences option 2 worked wasted c, 2hrs trying to do :wink:

I’m not on my sketchup computer right now, it’s in the preference panel, there is something about “ask to purge when saving”. turn it on. that way, whenever you save, it’ll ask you.
