I have a subscription for the 2024 pro and want to switch to 2025 pro. How do I do that?
Download it and install it. Versions of SketchUp install like separate programs on your computer, no need to delete the old 24, you can have both. Best to keep 24 at least until you have migrated all your workflow to 25 and are sure it works for you.
So, I won’t be charged separately to download the newer version if I’m current with by 2024 edition subscription?
No. The subscription fee entitles you to access during a given time period, generally one year. You can use any version covered by your subscription level during that time period, once the time ends no version will work for you until you pay again. You put a quarter in the machine and it goes till it stops, then you need another quarter.
Please fill out your info correctly, operating system x, and graphics card x doesn’t help us help you.
One thing to watch for is that each version of SketchUp you are signed in under counts as an activation, even if it’s on the same computer. You would want to open 2024 and sign out, then close 2024, to make sure you have the spare activation to sign in to 2025.
Do you pay for every Netflix movie you watch, or just a monthly fee? Subscription means you can access any new version under your plan that comes along while your subscription is active. It also means once you stop being a subscriber you don’t have access to the software anymore…
