Seqouia 15.0.1 (24A348) compatible with SKP 2025?

Working pretty well with new IO. Thanks all that responded.

yep. it works.

you can try it if you want, don’t uninstall your older version, simply add the 25 one and log into it.

it has been awhile, thanks for responding I kind of forgot about the upgrade trying to buy it now? AI is messing with customers heads. Don’t seem to helping get clients at all. They seem to be doing renderings in house now?

your profile says you’re using sketchup 23. therefore you have a subscription, no need to buy another.

simply install sketchup 25

the new graphic engine inside sketchup handles environment reflexion and global light. beyond that, it’s not very different, and it’s not on the same quality level as a dedicated rendering engine.

No I bought 23 but it never worked? I spent hours trying to get it to work and no luck. Finally I just decided TRIMBLE’s Greed would never give me a refund and I paid for 24 which has worked wonderfully. I don’t get to spend as much time as I would like using it, I only have a laptop now. I would like to upgrade though I will keep 24 on. Thanks.

Why would you pay for 24? Do you know how subscriptions work?

Download 25, install. Keep 24 in case you don’t like how 25 works.

you’re not paying for 23 or 24 or a specific version.

your subscription can be used on any version since 2019. it’s as simple as log in / log out.
if right now you have an active subscription, no need to pay anything extra. like I said, just download, follow the instructions (drag the sketchup folder into the application folder) and when you open sketchup, log into your account.

and if you prefer an older version, same idea. download, install, log in.

you can keep 24 installed. I have 3 versions on my mac right now.

I’m running Version 25.0.659 on macOS 15.5 with only a few bugs that reportedly will be fixed in the next update.

I think you’re confused with the classic licenses that were sold until the version 2021, since version 2022 classic licenses disappeared, that means that only subscriptions licenses are sold now, you must pay a yearly fee regardless of the version you are using, with one license you can run up to two instances of sketchup, it doesn’t matter the version, you can have installed version 2025 and 2023 on your machine and use both, if you don’t pay the yearly fee you wont be able to use sketchup at all, unless you own a classic license, but at this point there’s no version of sketchup bought as a permanent license that is supported, next year sketchup 2023 will lose support and some features that require the use of internet wont work anymore, like the warehouses for example.

No I have paid for all 23-24-25. Thankfully 25 has worked for about a month. Tried to login today and it said I wasn’t authorized. Plus getting a message that they have technical problems. Trimble seemed to let me login ok, got the code and all but it never stopped spinning to say I was all good go. I think they are pretty paranoid that someone would hack their program?

There is a requirement to sign out and in again every 28 days. You might have reached that. Then, if you have another copy of SketchUp open in the background, the foreground SketchUp shows the misleading technical problems message.

It might be worth doing a proactive sign out, sign in, every few weeks, so that you don’t exceed the 28 days.
