Switch for blinds. with .skp model for test

I have a dynamic component for blinds that works perfectly with OneClick.
But now I want to set up a switch in the house that also controls this blind.

I can’t figure out how to do that.

The blinds work fine.
I would like to use the switch for that, like in real life.
If only the switch works, that’s fine, but I can’t do that either.

Can anyone help me?

The connection to the switch is a simple reference, however there are scaling issues, using inches fixed this with your model, probably their original unit. scales with groups are problematic with DCs

Hello
Wow, thank you very much.

I had constant scaling problems.
My standard unit in Sketchup is mm. I am from Austria.
It’s strange that dynamic components have cm.

only that these don’t work either.
But I can convert the cm to inches, and it works.

Thank you very much. I’ve been looking for this for so long.
I also have a water tap that I can turn on and a garage door that I can control.

That has now solved all the problems.

One thing is that centimeters as the base unit for DCs only work if the “Display unit format” box is checked in Wimdow menu>Model Info>Units. It is a 20-year old bug.

Show units is activated for me, but in mm. Maybe it only works if it is also in cm.
