Thanks, I passed on that. It seems all languages are the same, it’s not only German.
So, it appears the 2021 version on those pages is intentional. The 2021 viewer can view 2021 and 2022 files, and someone only looking for the viewer can get that download, and all will be ok, even if they are still on 2021.
The main downloads page has the 2022 version, if there is a reason that is needed.

So, whatever the former thinking was, the dedicated viewer page is now pointing to the 2022 version. Note one change in the branding, and that the viewer won’t show a year. This viewer (as with the 2021 version) should view future version files, and as such isn’t so tied to a particular yearly release.
