SU-Layout text bug/problem

Text & Dimensions in a SU scene are not handled well by Layout. If you ask Layout to display a scene from SketchUp, it should look like the scene. The 3D components do look like the scene. They are all there within the view window. However, text and dimensions don’t look anything like they do in the SU scene.

Here are a few examples.

Here is what the scene looks like in SU

Here is the scene inserted into Layout. When inserting the scene, I would expect it to look the same as it did in SU. The scale Layout sets when it inserts the scene is about 1:92 which is approximately 1/8” = 1’

Adding to the post:

This is with the text in SU set as “points”, not “height”
In SU, “points” sets the text at a fixed size on your screen. When you zoom in or out the text stays the same size on the screen. That means the text changes size relative to the drawing. Text that was the size of someone’s head in the drawing may cover the whole person when you zoom out (i.e. the person gets smaller when you zoom out, but the text stays the same size).

When you set the text size by “height” it works a little better but still not well.

Here is the same scene looks like in Layout with the text and dimension sizes on the left set to a fixed “height” in SU.
