Greetings,
I was wondering if anybody has found the way to assign a keyboard shortcut to align view function. I cannot find the clue. It is pretty annoying to leave an entire drawing to reach an empty space and then point one of axes to change the view.
I will appreciate any suggestion. Thank you in advance.
Assign the shortcut with a face selected.

To expand on Gully’s reply: actions that appear on context-sensitive menus only appear in the shortcuts assignment window when that context is active in the SketchUp GUI. Align view is in context when a face is selected. Also note that this means the shortcut will do nothing unless an appropriate context is active.
