Double-clicking in a viewport does not result showing the name of the model in the SU Model Panel.
Thank you,
Sam Harrison
What happens if you only single click to select the viewport?
What does the title of your post have to do with the body of your post?
The title, which I failed to revise, was on having viewports on the repeating layer. You solved that point when I read an answer of yours on a “similar question.” Thank you for that.
I just tried single click on the viewport with nil result in the SU Model Panel.
Thank you, DaveR.
It would help to see your LayOut file if you can share it.
That came with the first post.
I am assuming that as long as I can identify a model in the SU Model Panel, I can load additional models to provide what I need for this set. Is my assumption correct?
Sorry. Didn’t see it on my phone.
So you’re saying that when you soingle click on a viewport in the LO file you are not seeing the SketchUp file name at the top of the SketchUp Model panel? This is what I see. The .skp file is indicated immediately under the SketchUp Model panel’s title bar.
You can insert other SketchUp files into this document or you can relink a viewport to another SketchUp model but I don’t think you want to do this when the viewports are on a shared layer as most of your viewports are.
There’s no reason to be double clicking into the viewports and modifying the Camera properties, though. If you change the scene or even change the SketchUp reference, the update won’t show correctly in the viewport since you’ve overridden the Camera properties.
