Layout 2024 is not displaying sky or ground color in any drawings new or pre-2024
I just noticed this problem when trying to create a Cover sheet with background colors in Layout
If I open an older drawing with a Cover sheet that had background colors displayed the color goes away when I Update Model Reference and the background goes to white.
The colors display in Sketchup but not in Layout viewports
Same result on OSX Sonoma and Windows 10

Is the Background box ticked in the Styles section of the SketchUp Model panel?
There was a change made in LO 2024 such that unticking the Background box wouldremove the background even if Sky was enabled in the style. Previously if Sky was enabled, unticking Background would have no effect.
I have no Background box to tick, only Sky and Ground
There is a background box but that looks like a color selector. Nothing happens when I click it

You’re looking in SketchUp. The SketchUp Model panel is in LayOut.

Probably set as the default state in your template. My templates are set up that way because I almost never want the background displayed anyway.
