I need some help on lining up railing parts. For the cap rail, I used shape bender and then rotated back to the axis to get the curve correct, but I can’t seem to do it for these parts and I also feel like there is a much easier and better way to do it, so I am asking for some advice. I am an artist blacksmith, and I normally don’t need 3d to do drawings, but with this curve, I thought it would be best to start getting into 3d so any advice would be appreciated! I’ve currently put in around 8 hours on this drawing so far, just learning as I go!
Shape Bender is a great tool but it’s probably not the right one in this case. I think you’d be better off with Profile Builer 3 to create an assembly.
