Hi there - I’m working on an entertainment oriented project for the Middle East. Sadly, my regular SketchUp guru had a death in the family, so I need someone who can help me out for a deadline. Particularly I’m looking for someone who can model some curving/sloping railing assemblies along a complex pathway. Here’s an image of the railing:
Originally I was thinking this could be done with the ProfileBuilder extension, but if you know other ways, that’s ok with me.
You can be anywhere, and of course this would be paid. If you are interested, please let me know and include a link to your prior work or some images of previous SketchUp work you’ve completed. Feel free to private message me on here ~ I’ll check in frequently.
I used this tutorial to create a first version of the rail assembly in ProfileBuilder 3. I will continue to test adding that white rectangular sign on the blue stand and then the pot with the snow.
I also added the other two components (the display panel and the snow).
That railing can therefore be made with ProfileBuilder 3 (parametric) and with other extensions - Copy Along Path, SketchPlus, Skatter (parametric).
The tutorial recommended in the previous post, even if it is for PB4 and describes a different type of more complex assembly, can be used to generate a railing in PB3 as well.
