I am still using the perpetual license SketchUp 2021. I haven’t upgraded since then because I don’t need to. Now I have installed SketchUp 2021 on a new PC. The only way to install 2DXY SlickMoves is through the Extension Manager. This is not allowing me to download any extensions because I don’t have an active subscription. This is the only way i can install 2DXY SlickMoves.
Please help!
You can download from the extension warehouse website(https://extensions.sketchup.com/) and install them as you said from the extension manager. Sketchup 2021 hasn´t received support since 2023, that means that all the features that require internet connection are not able anymore, both warehouses, geolocation and generate report are the tools and features that you can`t use anymore, for the warehouses you can use the website versions or the sketchucation store plugin, for geolocation you can add the location manually and download terrains and buildings from cadmapper and for generate report you can use plugins like opencutlist or Quantifier pro depending on what are you designing.
No. you can’t download payd extension from EW website.
Unfortunately, you can’t! It is dimmed off. You caannot press the download button. That is the problem

What is the solution? I already paid for it and i should be able to still use it
perhaps you can contact to the dev, and he may able to send it to you
Thanks. There is no solution for this problem from Sketchup?
I think that @colin can check your licenses and probably send you the rbz file so you can install it from the manager. I don’t know if I download it I can be able to send you the file, if you want I can try.
Yes please. I would appreciate it
2DXY_SlickMoves.rbz (1.6 KB)
I don’t know if it will work though
Unfortunately, it did not work. Thanks for trying to help. I hope @colin can help me resolve this problem
you’ll likely get a licensing problem though.
buying on the warehouse (and using the licences you bought) requires a SU version that can access the warehouse directly, ie. that has a recent enough chromium version (not deprecated), ie. one of the latest 3 versions. ![]()
Colin can’t do much about it. he’ll confirm, but you’re not the first person coming to the forum with a classic licence asking for similar things…
your best bet right now is to contact the dev directly.
So what is the solution. I should be able to download it and use , since i already bought. Sketchup sholud find a solution to this problem
I already sent him a message on the Extension Warehouse Message bar and waiting for his reply
they can’t support a 5y old chromium version on their websites. Already, supporting 3y can present some security issues. most websites out there (netflix, amazon…) won’t support more than 2y of versions.
Because of that, you can still access both extensions through your (hopefully more recent) browser, but anything that requires the internal chromium browser from SU is off the table in older versions.
the solution is the subscription. you may choose to go with it or not, but that’s your choice.
I don’t know if a reimbursement is possible. never actually bought anything from the warehouse.
I’m moving this thread to the Extension Warehouse section
maybe @CraigTrickett has a solution ?
I understand that there will not be support avaivalbe for older version, Hence, no access to Geo Location, Extension Warehouse via Sketchup..etc but i should be able to install the Extension that i bought. Nevertheless, it was only through direct Download that you were able to install this Extension. Unlike others, where you can download the.RBZ file and save it on your PC for later use. So it’s not my problem that this was the system before and now it’s not available anymore, and it’s unfair that I am not able to use an Extension i already paid for. At least let me have access to the extensions that I already bought for the Extension Warehouse so I can reinstall them or send me a workable .RBZ file. I hope they can find me a solution.
I tried as well, and got the same error. I think the attachment francisquitof gave is only the .rb file.
Try this one, with Extension Manager:
2dxyslickmoves.rbz (8.0 MB)
For me, I then get the license error, because I don’t have a license. If you have the license file it needs, it hopefully will work.
Thank you very much @colin , i 'll try and let you know
I couldn’t see in the menus where you go to in order to add a license. Do you know where that is done? Does the license file have to be in a particular folder?
