How about going a step further and use MS Physics to animate it too?

- install “AddCenterPointAll”
- add shortcut (e.g. “+” at numpad)
- use it 2-3 times
- say “can’t model without anymore”
- make a quickwin from it

Needed something to keep my hands busy while “watching” a movie with my wife that I wasn’t really interested in. (The movie, that is. Nothing wrong with my interest in my wife. 
)
Animation is entirely native SketchUp using tags and scenes. I inadvertently set it up so it was running backward but the timing was off. Simple fix. Might get a bit better performance out of it by adjusting the valve cam position but I think it really needs a slightly different cam geometry so the exhaust vale completely clears the port to allow steam in faster.

This was a fun project. I also did an animation of the engine rotating, done with native tools.
