Well, you could use a single guide line as the centerline.
Anssi, the hub shown in the book drawing connects with the rear leg with the hardware I drew out to the left of the origin. I think you have to have a hub to hold everything together.
Yeah, that’s what I did, but it’s slower to move everything from the origin up to the guideline like I did it. It would have been much faster to make everything on one line and not have to move it. Sometimes, I just proceed and not figure out the most efficient way. I need to study more square one videos.
If you want to see a work flow that demonstrates modeling parts on a common centerline, here’s a video I did a while back. After about 12 minutes, the parts are all modeled on the common center line.
In the case of your tea cart, I would do basically the same with the wheels and hardware.
