As a new user I don’t know if I am missing a system feature but I am trying to model a PC board. When I try to draw a small circle I get an error that the feature is too small. Can I not model small features in Sketchup?

The issue I am having is in drawing the 2D feature not lifting the 3D feature. Is this because the the segments in the circle are too small … in the .001 inch range?

Yes. Set the units to Meters and do your modeling as if inches are meters.
