In SketchUp for Mac, to use the eyedropper to copy materials, you need to select a material, double-click on it until a red circle appears at the tip of the eyedropper, and then you can click on the material you want to copy. This happens up to version 2023, but I’m having trouble copying materials with the eyedropper in version 2024 of Mac.
Has anyone had this difficulty and found a solution?
Which eye dropper are you selecting? What happens if you start with the Paint Bucket and then tap the Command key?
Dude, I’ve solved it, thank you very much. I’ve been using Mac for 1 year, I’ve been using SketchUp on Windows for 10 years, I’m still getting the hang of it.
Now, if you could help me with another point, in version 2024, when I double-click on the material, it says “Materials must be applied to the model before they can be edited.” even when they’re already applied.
I can only edit the material in the “materials in the model” list. Do you know why?
Just like on Windows you can only edit the In Model materials. Click on the House icon or select Colors in Model first. Then select the material you want to edit and edit it.
