Sketchup Web stuck on logo

Several students are experiencing an issue where SketchUp for Schools (http://edu.sketchup.com/) gets stuck on the loading screen after they log in. It doesn’t progress beyond that point.

We are using Chromebooks and logging in via Microsoft SSO. Interestingly, some students using the same devices and domain are able to access SketchUp without any issues.

We’re having the same issue using Google SSO. Is there any resolution for this issue?

@Dhruv @JALivingston Do you know if the students who are able to load the app and the ones who aren’t are using the same browser type? And if so, are they using the same browser version number?

All of our students are using Chromebooks/ChromeOS. The devices that load the app are running the same browser version as the ones that encounter this issue. The issue has been ongoing for over a month for us across several versions of ChromeOS.

Hi @JALivingston, thanks for the post. I’ll make sure that @Tori_SU is aware of your issue and see if we can get a support call set up sometime to resolve the issue.

In the meantime, can you let me know if you are using Google or Microsoft when you deployed the app? Knowing that will help me rule out a few possible issues. Also, I am guessing you are just using Chrome as a browser, but if I am mistaken please feel free to correct me.

We are using Google. Our students use Chromebooks with Chrome browser.

We are using Microsoft and using Chromebooks with Chrome browser.

Hello, I am having the same issue at my school. Half of the students are able to login. Half of them are stuck on the grey SketchUp logo and the other half are able to log in. We are using Chromebooks with the Chrome browser. and Google Education to log in.

We are allowing popups and still have the problem where half of the students cannot access it and are stuck on the login logo that is gray

I read through other posts and it seems that our @lbschools.net ending needs to be added to the list of allowed email endings
