Is there any way someone can call me and walk me through how to fix this problem… I have gone through the uninstall and reinstall process. I have cleaned up the folders/files. For some reason even in my old folder with all my work gone… I am still now having the same issue. Please help, truly can’t afford to lose more hours on this.
Did you install it correctly? On Windows that requires right clicking on the installer and selecting Run as administrator.
Which version of Windows are you running? “2025” is not an operating system.
Do you have the new graphics engine enabled in SketchUp? The graphics card you list is an integrated GPU. The new graphics engine doesn’t support it. Switching to the Classic graphics engine might change things.
Are you getting Bug Splats? If so, are you sending them in with your name and email address attached?
I sent multiple bug splats… but not gotten any confirmation they received it. I have the real pro version. Not sure how to get the classic graphics version…
I expect they’ve been received. They generally don’t reply to them but if they have your name and email address attached, it might be that @colin can look them up to see what is causing the issue.
Will SketchUp open without a file? If so, go to Window>Preferences>Graphics and select the Classic Graphics Engine. Then quit and restart SketchUp.
Be aware that after switching to the Classic Graphics Engine newer graphics features won’t be available. It might be time to start looking for a new computer.
Please correct the operating system listed in your profile.
I looked at your bugsplats. Most of them are DX12 issues, and so if you do try the classic graphics engine it may work around the problem.
It’s likely that there is a material you are using that has a problem. If you’re getting crashes mostly while using a particular model, can we take a look at it?
Is there a reason you need to stay with SketchUp 2025? 2026 had a lot of fixes in it, and the 2026.1 that was posted a few days ago has even more fixes in it. Could be worth trying that version.
