Hi There, I have a MacBook Pro and a separate monitor.
Every time I open up sketchup I have to re-set up my boxes on the rhs. I am hoping there is a way to make the computer remember the setup I like.
Can anyone advise please?

I had multiple monitors for years with my old MacBooks.
IIRC I used:
There are others if you search
On the preferences there’s a box that saves window size.
I think that is only for the main document window.
If something happens that stops the preferences file from being updated, which often is only when you close SketchUp normally, the panels would be back to their previously saved positions.
You could open SketchUp, start a new document, lay out the panels where you want them, and then close SketchUp. I tried that a few times, and each time SketchUp would reopen with them where I had placed them, even if that was in the middle of an external monitor.
