SketchUp Section Plane does not cut through wall

I have a small watercloset with a bulkhead.
When creating a section plane it simply wont cut through my walls until only after I have reached the bulkhead front. That should not happen. It should not cut only when I reached already more than 380 mm beyond the inside wall surface…

Any ideas of how they will fix this problem?

Here you can see the section plane created:

Here you can see i moved just before my walls begin. I should already be able to see through but i have a white area inside and see nothing.

This is then toggled fromt the other side. I should be able to see through but i cant.

Only after I completely move in front of my bulkhead then a cut gets created.
But I´m already almost half of my room and this way i can´t show more of the inside space.

Post the model. It’s hard to diagnose from a JPG.

I am guessing your walls are not solid.

I am assuming that the bottoms of your walls are open, but, as @bmike said, without seeing the model, that is just a guess.

Your model shows no floor thickness. Also part of the top near the section plane side is a single face, no thickness. This way you confuse SketchUp in making the correct cut.
In other words: your model isn’t a SketchUp Sollid so SketchUp doesn’t know which subsequent perimeters should be filled and which not, unlike when cutting a Sollid.

Turn off section fill.
