I just tried with the latest update and you are correct. That is unfortunate. It absolutely needs an offline mode. It will be worthless to anyone in remote areas using it in the field…like me.
Ok, I take back my last comment. If I sign in, open the app, then close the app, switch off Wi-Fi, then open the app, I still have access to all my files and I am not requested to log in. I just needed to log in that first time.
