Sketchup Pro 2020 MacOS Silent Install

Hi Community,

Has anyone successfully deployed the MacOS version of Sketch up 2020 silently using a depoyment tool. Our org uses munki but since the changeover to the new “Double-click to install Sketchup.app” install type, I have not had any success deploying the software in a useable state.

I have tried running the unix executable in the package /Contents/MacOS/Double-Click to Install SketchUp which reveals that java has something to do with the installer but i’m a bit in over my head understanding that.

Any tips or insights would be great.

you could try installing on a single machine and use a shell script to send to other networked mac…

   ditto /Applications/SketchUp\ 2020  destination/Applications/SketchUp\ 2020
