SketchUp Pro 2019 Classic License – "Add License" window is blank (licensing page incompatible with embedded browser) – request for offline

Hello,

I have a valid SketchUp Pro 2019 Classic License and I can’t authorize it on a new installation.

Environment

  • SketchUp Pro 2019, version 19.3.253 (also tested on 19.0.685, same result)
  • Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
  • Internet connection working normally

Problem
When I click “Add Classic License” → “Add License”, the license window opens but stays completely blank, so I can’t enter the serial number and authorization code.

Root cause (from SketchUp’s CEF log)
The file %APPDATA%\SketchUp\SketchUp 2019\WebCache\debug.log shows this error every time the window opens:

Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ?
source: licensing.sketchup.com/assets/index-DRpioQ2p.js (13)

The 2019 add-license page ( SketchUp Licensing ) now loads a modern JavaScript bundle that uses optional chaining / nullish coalescing. The browser embedded in SketchUp 2019 is CEF 3.3282 (Chrome 64), which doesn’t support this syntax, so the script fails and the page renders blank. Reinstalling or updating SketchUp 2019 doesn’t fix it.

I tried to open a support case, but my Trimble account has no access to support cases (Classic License without maintenance).

Request
Could someone from the SketchUp licensing team help me authorize this license? An offline license text that I can paste through the “Advanced… Copy and paste your license info below” option in the offline Add License dialog would work. I can send the serial number and authorization code by private message.

I have two licenses for the 2019 version; if it’s possible to upgrade them to 2021 or 2022, that would also be fine.

Thank you,

Tiago Moreira
