I build parts that are skewed to the normal planes. Is there an extension that I can download that will rotate the part to square with the normal three planes that will work with the latest 2016 version of Sketchup?
Could you describe a little more about what it is you are doing? Maybe give an example screen shot or model?
Perhaps you could use the Axes Tool to rotate the axes to align with the part when you are working on it.
Or window select the whole part, and make it a component. Then rotate the component instance. Whenever you wish to edit it, you can double-click it to enter it’s context, and the axes will change to show the local component’s axes.
