Hi I’m new to this forum, but have read some trails covering sketchup glitches with Mac OS, especially around materials.
I have had problems in the past with sketchup being glitchy on mac sonama 14.3, But now I can’t even get sketchup to open. It’s become totally unusable. Any ideas? I’ve already tried deleting and reloading the app, but no good. I’ve read the trail

sonoma 14.3 came with big security changes that caused lots of crashes.
normally it should be fine with SU24, but I would advise you to start by updating to 14,5 — it fixed some things apple changed.
at least, that would put aside mac os as a possible source of trouble
also, the M3 machines have their quirks, once you’ll get SU to reopen, you might want to lower the antialiasing to 0x and to eventually turn off the new engine (in the preference / graphics panel). Hopefully a 24.1 will be released soon with lots of fixes on this end
