Sketchup Make 2017 set-up wizard starts, but ThumbsUp.dll fails to register

I had this program running on my old computer, but it crashed, so I bought a new PC. First attempt to download I chose the MAC version by mistake. Have tried to find and delete all Sketchup related files/folders, with exception of some drawings, but it still won’t work. Not sure where to turn.

Search this forum for thumbsup.dll.

Thanks John, it worked. Once I removed the Visual C programs and tried the SketchUp install again, the Visual C reinstalled automatically, and the SketchUp installed successfully.
