.* irc * if you don’t upgrade e.g. Autodesk (or Adobe) applications ~2 years after purchase the right to obtain upgrades gets lost, i.e. requires to buy a full blown license again… in this context the small reinstatement fee of SU appears to be an accommodating offer for customers not generating revenue partly over years/aeons… should maybe a little bit higher to push motivation of participation in development expenditures… which would be of benefit for all customers constantly upgrading then.
