SketchUp/Layout crash web page – please give us the option to disable!

Whenever SketchUp or Layout crashes it opens up a web page – which for me is pretty useless.

Apart from the fact that it has the crash number, it offers no useful information and the links to SketchUp help pages are of no real help.

So what about an option to turn this off?

If I had a pound for every crash web page I had to close down in my life, I’d be quids in as the British say…

well, technically, if you don’t report the bugsplat, it doesn’t open that page.

Well, careful with your units, I’ve gotten a pound for every of these crash webpage, and now I’m obese. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: :upside_down_face:

Wow, the name of this one has weight already, don’t eat it!

For the past few months SketchUp and Layout has been crashing frequently on a daily basis.

If it was more stable I likely wouldn’t be bothered!

By the way, it seems like a good idea that when you submit a crash report, you get a credit that can be used towards your next purchase.
This way, you are motivated to submit it (and possibly write down the crash number), and the SU team is motivated to see as few such reports as possible.

In other words, if the product is stable - then there is no crash, it is worth the full subscription price, if not stable, then it is worth less money.
