Please recover my file … its very important
Your SketchUp file is about 90% filled with zeroes. There’s nothing to recover from it. Where were you saving the file while working on it? Did anything happen to your computer while you were working? Have you tried renaming the .skb backup file to .skpp and opening that? Your profile says you are using SketchUp 2024 so you must have a subscription which includes unlimited Trimble Connect storage. Were you using it to save a backup of your file?
Can u pls guide me for how to recover the file

I told you. There’s nothing to recover in the file. If you can’t open the backup copy and you weren’t using Trimble Connect to save a backup, the only alternative would be to start over.
Where was the file being saved while it was being worked on? Was it made using a cracked version of SketchUp?
We are using licenced version of sketchup & the file was saved on local computer…
OK. Did you look for and try to open the .skb backup file?
You might want to check the internal drive on the computer to ensure it’s not going bad and that it has enough disk space. When you start over on the file save it locally and also save it to Trimble Connect as an additional backup. Each time the file is saved to Trimble Connect an incremental save is done so earlier versions of the file are still available, too.
Hi @sanket.khedekar, thanks for the post and sorry to hear that your file corrupted. Sometime a loss of power during a save can corrupt a file. Did you lose power while working on the file?
Generally, best practice in general when working on an important file is to make sure that you are maintaining backups just in case something goes wrong. Trimble Connect will help you to do that so make sure you are using it. SketchUp also generates a automatic backup every once in a while just in case. If you can, try accessing those and see if the corruption is there as well.
No, there was no power loss also the system is newly purchased , infact the file was made on 29th Jan but today when tried to open the file it wud not open . we just save the file on our local computer .
Any useful help will be appreciated.
I’ve been trying to help you. I’ve asked twice if you’d been able to open the .skb backup file but you haven’t answered.
Again, there’s nothing in the .skp file to recover.
No unable to open the .skb file
OK. So again, there’s nothing left but to start over on the model.
Ok…
Thanks for the support.

You’re welcome. Hopefully this is a one-off event for your user.
On this point, did you try to directly open the SKB in SketchUp, or did you rename the file so that it ended with .skp?
By the way, there is a forum rule somewhere about posting personal information. I removed the phone number in your posts.
