Sketchup crashing after importing model from warehouse

Hi There!

I’m having issues with sketchup getting stuck or crashing after importing models from the 3d warehouse.

I’ve tried only using low poly models, or models with small file size, changed graphics settings in Sketchup, but nothing seems to work.

I use sketchup professionally for interior design and architecture and not being able to use the 3d warehouse is a pain.

I specifically bought a M3 mac book pro (15.3.1 (24D70)) to be able to cope with larger 3D programs.

What do i do?

Can you give a link to an example model that caused problems?

To be fare, it seems unrelated to the imported models itself, but rather changing the orientation or position within my model that is causing it to get stuck or crash.
