Sketchup crashes using push pull

My files keep crashing while using push pull or copying face or lines. For example:

  1. push/pull one faces

  2. typing a value while coyping faces or lines in a group and hit enter

  3. FREEZ/ CRASH

I’m experiencing this very frustrating problem now for quite a while (years), multiple times a day. It doens’t matter what size file I’m using, with or without livesynq connection to D5 Render or what system I’m on. Currently I’m on a pretty buffed pc, but it doensn’t seem to be the problem.

My SketchUp quite often crashes when I enter a value using push/pull or drawing geometry. It doesn’t matter what file I’m working on, large or small. I’m experiencing it also on multiple workstations.

Anyone having the same, very annoying, issue and how to solve this?!

Have you sent in the BugSplat crash reports? Can you post a crash number, @colin can look them up. If they only happen when D5 LiveSync is turned on, I would guess that that is the culprit.

Thanks for your reply, Anssi!

Crash #159450

The issue also occurs when LiveSync is disabled. In most cases, I’m working with both programs simultaneously, but syncing with D5 Render doesn’t appear to be the problem.

Contrary information.

My bad

Any updates on this topic yet?

Not sure why I hadn’t seen this post before.

The crash seems to have happened when doing an undo, after doing a push pull. If that happens every time you do the same action, it would be useful to look at the model, in the state it was right before the push pull.

Regardless of which model/project or empty file I am working on, the problem persists. I just experienced the problem again while only using push pull and entering a value. The program now freezes and I have to force quit to get back to my autosave.
