thank you for your advice
Huh… good to know… That is curious.
Ah, very good. I can reproduce it now and also see the error when logged in using Safari. Thanks for helping to track that down, should be something we can fix soon.
@Kasia, did you see something similar? Using Safari? Are you able to view the lessons now by logging out or using a different browser?
Thank you Tyson and Ian for this suggestion. I confirm that when I log out it WORKS! I can see the courses. As I have to be logged in to launch my 30 days trial of SketchUp Pro I had to use my iPad to see the courses.
with CHROME there is the same problem, only logging out can fix this problem so far…
Thanks for confirming that @Kasia, glad that you can at least see the lessons. Being logged in allows you to save progress on which lessons you’ve viewed, but otherwise, you don’t need a Pro license to view Campus, anyone can view Campus without logging in, so please explore all you’d like regardless of the 30 day trial.
I’ve reported the bugs to our Campus dev, may take a few days, but we’ll get this all sorted.
thank you very much
@MikeWayzovski just private messaged me to ask how I were using Safari on my Windows systems noted in my profile.
To confirm any doubt, I were using Safari on my iphone and it does usually work. I’ve used it several times before successfully.
Now having chance, I just tried on Windows 7 and Chrome. The same issue persists here with that.
Give it time. Worked for me.
Hi Tyson,
I am in California, and seeing similar problems on Win10 Pro, Edge and Win10Pro Chrome.
Want to pass along that there might be a connection between cached data/cookies and the Error page.
I deleted my history cache in Chrome, went to SketchUp Campus through menu “Resources” on www.sketchup.com, and was asked to accept cookie policy, clicked on desired Track and was able to start video (without logging in). Then tried to login, hit Error page. Next deleted history cache, repeated access to SketchUp Campus as before and was again able to start video (without logging in).
The error seems to be that this file is currently missing: https://learn.sketchup.com/sites/default/files/js/jquery.nanoscroller.js.map
I tried a lot of browsers, Mac and Windows, and I think they all will see that file as being missing. Not sure why it isn’t used if you’re not logged in.
Thanks much Lindsey, this detailed information which will hopefully help us track down the issue.
I tried again this morning, and although that file is still not there, I can play videos while signed in.
Thanks Colin.
For anyone who would like to try again, our dev adjusted a few settings on our hosting platform and hopefully things should be working again.
Chrome and Safari, all courses loading here now logged in.
Win10Pro Edge working fine, logged in and videos playing.
Thanks.
I’m experiencing the same error issues described in the thread above. Was there a definitive solution in the end?
I’m using Chrome browser and I CAN see the tutorial videos if I stay logged out. However, as soon as log in, i get the error page.
This week’s issue is new, it only seems to affect one part of the site. The work around is the same, sign out and the videos will play.
The company is closed this week, but even so Eric took a look and didn’t see a problem. But I do, and I’ll show Tyson on Monday if he’s in the office.
Awesome - thank you Colin.
Some amount of fixing has happened, and the videos are working again.
