I’m having problems trying to open any of the lessons, are you having the same issues. Are you experimenting the same problem? an error code is displayed whenever im trying to open a lesson.
Thanks all for the feedback, very sorry for the issues happening. We think we have the problem identified, but the solution is tied to some support from our service provider, so we’ve got an ongoing ticket to sort it out.
In the interim, please try viewing the videos as logged in or without logging in. Sometimes this works, though currently I’m seeing some errors regardless.

I just started using the product about 2 weeks ago. After finishing the two beginner tracks and lessons, it would be great if there would be more intermediate modelling exercises available in Campus. This could be using the move tool, more intermediate uses of the follow me-tool. This could be practicing modelling different furniture or objects that have a little more advanced shapes.
Thanks for the suggestions. We definitely want to get some more intermediate level courses up. One has been in the works for a while, but no estimate on when it will be ready. Keep the suggestions coming!
Erm you lesson need to be more detailed and literal. For example It just took me an age to work out that on the tabs exercise you need the Entity Info Panel open up, not the Tab panel tray to assign the roof, the walls or the floor to a tab. You dont mention this and when I tried opening the tab tray it did not open up with the Entity Info Tab so your instructions were not making sense. You may know this and take it for granted but rookies don’t it literally needs to be step one, step two and when doing thing like changing the tool you need to specify you are doing this which may not be obvious when you have a fast moving mouse pointer and you are referring to something else verbally.
Its kinds like a magician waving a flag or pyrotechnic on one side so you whilst you are looking you dont notice what the other hand is doing unless you point it out
Ya know I have issues absorbing some of the information at times. It just makes me more attentive and trying harder to figure out the material presented.
There is no step by step that fits all.
Also noticed that often when you try and open a tray tab (not sure what to call them. The video these appear as free floaters when selected from the windows menu. But Ive noticed they appear to turn up on a side bar instead in a different layout. Also Im using the latest version as far as I know and there is a different layout under windows into sub menus so some rookies will get stuck as things are not where they are supposed to be. It helps if it is explained in some different versions this may occur and likely places these will be.
As you get much better then you can make educated guesses where to look from experience but at this point need all details said aloud. You can be attentive but this needs to be explained if likely to be different like how it mentioned layers and tabs do a similar thing

This is my first visit to the Community; just getting my feet wet.
I am trying to begin to follow along with the SketchUp Fundamentals 12 courses-48 lessons track. I have downloaded and unpacked the Exercise Files.
When I open the 1-Quick Start - Final Park.skp file, I am not seeing the same as is shown in the video on my screen. I cannot select (any) template. What am I missing?
Hi @VinceB. *edited - You should be able to go to Help and then open the ‘Welcome to SketchUp’ window in which you can then choose a different template if you want to. The exercise file you downloaded should be the same template as shown in the video. Let me know if you have any other issues.
Tnx @eric-s. I did find that screen, via File>New From Template… I had to get up close to read the suggested template to be selected. I am in the USA, so am using Architectural-inches for the videos in the track.
Now, back to the track.
I have until 26th Sep to do a lot of learning in the trial version.

Completely new to this version of sketchup.
I am trying to follow the tutorial for beginners, and I am at the Edges and surfaces video, where they say to get the example files.
I have downloaded them, but it is not clear where to put them to get them into the web version (which I am using to learn the program).
I’d like to complete the course to see if this is something I can use for my current project, but I have to admit I am falling a bit short on how to do certain things already.
Am I missing something obvious, or are there no way to get files from your computer to the cloud service?
