I searched the forum for similar issues, but so far I didn’t find any, if this is in the wrong category please let me know, this is my second post on here.
I recently downloaded SU 2025 to check out the new features only but had the intention of using the previous version to complete some renderings in V-Ray and not have to experiment with V-Ray in SU 2025 because V-Ray 7 for SU 2024 was already a headache.
Unfortunately for some reason when I got SU 2025 V-ray seemed to disappear (I understand how odd this sounds, but it was completely gone and didn’t even appear in my extensions, unfortunately I don’t have a screenshot). Since I knew that there was a V-Ray release for SU 2025 I just downloaded that and uninstalled the previous version.
I was not all too surprised when I encountered issues rendering with V-Ray, sometimes I am able to do a low quality render, however, on most occasions that’s not even possible and the program just crashes. I do believe that this is mostly an issue with V-ray, but posting on here to see if any other Sketchup users are experiencing similar issues.
