SketchUp 2025 cannot load any project anymore

Hi,

I encountered a pretty nasty bug today which prevents me from opening any project in SketchUp 2025.

If you open the attached project in 2025 and explode the mesh of the table, SketchUp will crash. After the crash, you can still open SketchUp 2025 but it will not load any project, even a default new project.

I tried to reboot the computer and it didn’t help. I tried to uninstall and reinstall SketchUp and it also didn’t help.

I was able to reproduce this issue on 2 different computers, on a desktop and on a laptop.

I tried to reproduce it in SketchUp 2024 and I was not able to.

You might have luck finding where the auto save / recover files are stored - I’m on a Mac and often clean house in there. I don’t know how to navigate to it on PC.

If you find that folder delete the file and I feel like SKP will then open properly.

It looks like deleting C:\ProgramData\SketchUp worked.
