Hello Dave R,
I have continued to have problems with zoom extents in 2024 working differently than in 2022. In 2022 I could turn tags off and zoom extents on the geometry visible after turning tags off. In 2024 when a tag is turned off to remove geometry, zoom extents zooms to the extent of all the geometry, turned off or not. The following is a new .skp with a big rectangle and a small rectangle.
Maybe I am not remembering the functionality of 2022, but it sure seems different in 2024 to how I was using zoom extents in 2022. I have attached the file for your reference.
Thanks,

Hi Dave, great stuff as always. I can’t wait to got back to my work in SU Go and review your recommendations. I am currently having an issue with zoom extents that seems similar to this issue. When I select zoom extents my screen goes white with no geometry/objects in view at all.

Very likely you have something located at a huge distance from the rest of the model. Use Outliner to select the objects in the model, right click on the selection in Outliner and choose Zoom Selection. Make sure the camera is set to Perspective first.
Thanks Dave, I tried your suggestion but outliner only lets me select one object at a time. This works quite well for that one object. Maybe I’m missing something . Anyway Zoom Extents seems to be working as it should currently. I will check the rest of my projects to see if it’s an issue with the drawing as opposed to SU for me.
Thanks again always appreciate your input.
