Sketchup 2024 image export options missing

I am trying to export an image using the 2D Graphic export dialogue. I want to create an image size/ratio different to the viewport size. I uncheck the box “use view size”, but the pixel width & height values stay as a fixed ratio. Every time I change one, the other updates to match the current view ratio. They cannot be changed independently.
The only workaround I can find is to physically change the window size on my screen and export as view size. This is inaccurate though.

On Windows that’s normal and it’s been that way forever. At least since SketchUp 3 ( I just checked).

Best option would be to select one (probably the height) and crop to the desired width in an image editor.

Ok thanks DaveR for the quick response (as usual).
I’ve been using it since V3 as well and I was sure I could change view ratios on image exports, but old age can be cruel.

Indeed it can be cruel. I have 3.1 installed on my other computer and opened it to check. On Mac you can choose different values for width and height without sticking to the aspect ratio of the model window.

ahh that’s where I saw it. I was using a mac version for a few years from around V8 onwards. I switched back to windows in 2018. Thanks for restoring my sanity.
