Thanks Dave, I fixed the thumbnails by deleting SU2020 and repairing 2021.
SU2021 will not load upon double clicking on a sketchup file - this happens instead:
It’s amazing that SketchUp 7.1 can still almost show the current web content. If you see that message, click on No, and the rest of the welcome screen should still work.
If I click ‘no’ I get this one:
and then with a No again I get this:
etc. and then it fails
If you get a chance to, you could uncheck the Always show on startup. Or click the Start using SketchUp button. Clicking No should have stopped the page from attempting to run scripts.
I think from memory that doing that doesn’t work either. But I will update when I check
