SketchUp 2018 export to DXF does not keep Scene and Layer associations

I’m working with clients that need CAD files of my drawings.

When I’m in SketchUp Pro 2018, and export 3D DXF, the Scenes and Layers are included but no longer linked.

My clients click on a named view (Scenes) but the layers don’t change.

*DXF export from Layout 2018 keeps the scenes but loses the model information.

Any help would be appreciated.

A SketchUp Scene and an AutoCad named view are very dissimilar concepts. AutoCad named views do not store layer information, only view/camera properties. Layer properties can only be associated with paper space viewports.
