Sketchup 2017 and Visualizer?

#1

The free and awesome tool Visualizer for Sketchup worked for SU2016 by installing it with a work-around.

By copying the files from SU2015 to the 2016 folder “c:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2016\SketchUp\Plugins” it worked.

Now for SU2017 I tried the same, but all I get is a bunch of load errors :expressionless:

Does someone know how to get it working for 2017?

SU 2017 uses Ruby v2.2 which probably does require changes to the Visualizer scripts and/or compiled runtime libraries affected… which won’t happen because development of Visualizer was terminated at 23.03.2015.

As an alternative you may want check if e.g. the free hobby version of ‘Twilight Render’.

Ah, too bad… Thnx for the reply.

I guess I´ll keep SU2016 alive. The simplicity, speed and realtime render option of Visualizer is just what I need.
