My coworkers send me a file with extension skb but i can’t opened it with sketchup. So my question is, is a native file of sketchup or its a plugin that i need to download to view this file?

SKB is the backup file. You can change the extension to SKP and open it but your coworkers should be sending you the SKP files instead.
In doing so, there’s a strong possibility they’re failing to send you the most current version of the model.
By default, SketchUp automatically creates a backup file when you save a model.
The *.skb backup file is the previously saved version of the file.
