Trying to sign in to Sketchup while on the road while using my iphone as a hotspot, but it won’t connect to the Trimble server “site cannot be reached”.
The rest of the internet is there and functioning as it should.

You may need to turn off Private Relay;
Not sure if it affects hotspot traffic - but I have issues with some logins (banking / etc) when it is on.
It was already off, but thanks for the tip.
VPN?
Your mobile provider might be filtering things (why Trimble I don’t know…).
Nope. Probably should have one though lol.
There are all kinds of networking processes that the phone does in order to facilitate the hotspot mode and sometimes it doesn’t work so well.
I’ve needed to use some more network sensitive software via my iPhone before - physically tethering my device to my router was always more reliable and had lower latency than direct from the device.
That was quite a specific setup I had - but Perhaps try tethering via USB rather than a wireless hotspot - maybe that will work better also.
Tried physical tether but no love. Guess the universe just doesn’t want me to work on Sunday…
Google pixel 6A to the rescue,
no problem at all. Guess it’s that Apple security, securing me.
